How to Submit Public Comments to the U.S. Department of Education

One way to voice your opinion and expertise is to provide public comment on proposed U.S. Department of Education rules and their impacts on education.

Tell the Department of Education about the dangers of excluding students from receiving CARES Act relief

The Department of Education rule, “Eligibility of Students at Institutions of Higher Education for Funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act” excludes undocumented students, including those with DACA, access to CARES Act relief funds. To provide your comments, go to the Department’s comment page for this rule. Here, you can either copy and paste your comments into the provided space or upload a file into the comment web form.
