This two-day Leadership Training Institute is designed for all new and returning Chief Science Officers in the San Antonio area, their school advisors and others involved in the CSO program here in 2019-20 to prepare them for their roles as STEM leaders in their school and community.
 
The institutes will foster interactive participation with student peers, school points of contact (advisors), and community STEM mentors and professionals along with high-impact learning and growth opportunities. During the Leadership Training Institute, CSOs will develop an action plan for the year. While formulating these plans, CSOs learn and use program management, scheduling, and goal-setting skills; identify specific actions; develop timelines; and identify school, community and/or business personnel who may help them achieve their goals.
 
Dates: September 26 and 27, 2019 Lunch will be provided.
Time: 8:00-5:00 each day.

Transportation is the responsibility of each school that is sending students to the institute.
